Working from her small workshop in Norfolk, Helen Taylor is an established fused and stained glass artist.  Taking inspiration from both nature and the beautiful Norfolk countryside, Helen creates individually designed bowls, wall hangings, dishes and mounted display pieces using fused and stained glass techniques.

 

Helen has been an enthusiastic crafter for most of her life, with wide ranging interests in three-dimensional textile art, dressmaking and watercolour painting. But her first love has always been the artistry of glass;

"I've always been fascinated at how coloured glass changes with the light and the dazzling colour fusions it creates.

Glass artists such as Tiffany, Chihuly and Lalique have greatly inspired my work, transforming glass into beautifully tactile,  pieces with exquisite patterns and vibrant colours. I find working with glass completely captivating and enjoy every aspect of the process”
